I was so excited to get this today, I just had to share it! I’ve been looking at bicycle bells like this on ebay for a couple of months now – they were only made in Europe in the 1970s – and every so often one pops up on eBay and gets sold for $50 or more. I played my cards right and snagged this one for just $32.50!
It’s a bicycle bell with St. Christopher engraved on the front of it. St. Christopher is the patron saint of travelers, and I thought would be an excellent addition to my bike for this summer. I can’t wait to use it!
Also, today my mom is coming up for a visit. Considering the 6 inches of snow we just received two days ago, I’m going to stay home for as long as I can, so that I can be here when she arrives before I have to leave for work… let’s just say that my front yard is too big, the snow is too thick, and I’m not going to risk “shoveling” a pathway to the sidewalk with a rake and throw out my back again! You would think I’d get an actual shovel by now….. anyway, I’m going to try stamping out a pathway with my snowshoes, so I’d better get to work….
