Postcards to Mackinac

I’m looking for a postcard… from YOU!

I had a thought. People from all over the world come to visit Mackinac Island. And they send postcards back home for their families and friends to ooh and ahh over all the wonderful things being done on the island. Yay!

Then I thought: what if we reversed it?

I’m asking for everyone to send in a postcard to me, from your hometown! It could be a postcard of your city, something unique to your town, something just for fun, or even make your own. All you have to do is write down your favorite memory of Mackinac Island on it! Every postcard I receive will be posted on my blog.

You can send all postcards to:

Heather May / PO Box 870 / Mackinac Island, MI 49757

I would love to keep this going all summer long, so please send a postcard, and tell your friends and family, too!

Remember, there are just three simple steps:

1. Get a postcard (of your hometown, something fun, or make your own)

2. Write down you favorite Mackinac Island memory

3. Send it to the address above

Can’t wait to hear from you!

This postcard is available for purchase at Caddywampus on Mackinac Island

Just found your blog recently. Love, love, love hearing about the island. The post card idea is great. I can never find a card from Mishawaka but I’ll give it a try. We’ll (my husband and I) be on the island on the 20th. Can’t wait to be there.

Glad you like it! So far this week has started out to be a very hot one, I’m sure the weather will be amazing when you come up on the 20th.

And absolutely send a postcard. You could be my first! 😀
